Connor R. Levine | Founder & Head Coach

Swimming has been part of my life for nearly two decades—first as an athlete, now as a coach. My competitive career included multiple First and Second Team All-State and All-Division honors, school and state records, and recognitions like “Outstanding Senior in Swimming.” While these achievements were meaningful, I tend to look back more on the coaches who brought out the best in me. Notably Coach Dave Hanson, Coach Mike Blackburn, Coach Dan Morse, and Coaches Albro & Lawson.

Over the past eight years, I’ve coached athletes at YMCA, USA Swimming, high school, private, and professional levels. All while helping swimmers not only refine their technique and race strategies, but also reach top collegiate programs across the globe. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Athletic Coaching and Recreation Management, and more than twenty certifications in pool and strength training. My professional growth continues through attending ASCA and ISCA conferences, reading extensively on swimmer development and biomechanics, and regularly attending University of Florida practices. I’ve also spent two summers working with the Gator Swim Camps, gaining firsthand insight into Olympic and World Championship preparation under Anthony Nesty and Whitney Hite.

I founded TIDE Swimming to provide what too many athletes lack: expert, athlete-centered coaching. Our program emphasizes technical precision, mental preparation, and long-term development over shortcuts. At TIDE, success is not about a coach’s résumé—it is about equipping swimmers to reach their full potential in and out of the pool. That commitment guides every practice, every correction, and every swimmer I work with.
